I love this dress!

It's a now seriously ancient H&M dress and is pretty faded but I found a cute cardie that's the right red and added a vintage petticoat-type skirt (rescued from one of my mum's cupboard clean outs).

I'm considering having a go at trying to make a copy of the dress. I've made similar dresses but they tend to be more formal, as this dress is nicely casual, I think it's the pockets, but there looks to be lots of bits making it up so have to see how that goes.

I've been working on another dress, which is going pretty well and should be finished tomorrow, except my room looks a total mess with fabric, patterns and an ironing board and sewing machine all over the place.
